WREXHAM AND DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE

Rhos Aelwyd stepped up into the eleven-a-side arena and had a perfect start in the Under 12 league section Two, they defeated Chirk Youth 10-2.  Making a huge impact in particular was Ian Hughes who weighed in with a five goal salvo, completing the landslide victory was Jack Jones(2), Scott Reeves and Danny Harris.  Reducing the deficit with a brace of goals was James Collins.
 
Ruthin Town showed how dominant they are likely to be when they clinched a 4-2 victory over Borras Park Albion, Iwan Davies, Harry Jones, Scott Reeves and Danny Harris netted the Ruthin goals with Albion hitting back with a double salvo from Leighton Evans.
 
Marchwiel Colts were beaten 11-0 by Coedpoeth Utd who really were on the rampage with Ryan McClean converting a hat-trick, Tom Roberts and Ellis Jones grabbing two goals apiece and Louis Hall, Rhys Edwards, Alex Matthews and an OG accounting for the remainder of the spree.
 
Borras Park Rangers were quick to make their mark and they demolished Llangollen Youth 9-0.  Competing the whitewash were Jordon Williams and Tom Duckett with a hat-trick apiece, James Roberts(2) and Zach Gale.
 
FC Brickfield went down 5-2 at home to Bala Juniors.
 
In Section One, Queens Park shared four goals and the points with Acrefair Youth, Park’s marksman was Hayden Jones with a two goal blast with the visitors hitting back through a an own goal and Josh Evans.
 
Park Youth hit back through a John Paul Lewis penalty as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Brickfield.
 
Mold Juniors thumped Brymbo Lodge 7-0.  Man of the match Lee Jones notched two of those goals, Jack Parry converted a hat-trick with Keiran Turner-Owen and Rory Baker making the points safe.
 
Marford and Gresford Albion struggled to settle and they were comfortably beaten 3-0 by Johnstown who took the lead on the stroke of half time through Keiran Taylor with Matt Smith(2) cementing the win.
 
There was excitement galore at Rhosddu Utd who shared six goals and the points with Marchwiel United. Sam Jones, Jake Wilson and Rhys Hughes were the hosts marksmen with United reducing the arrears through Ryan Clutton and Dominic White with Kyle Ellrick snatching a last gasp leveller.
                
At Under 13 League level in Section One, Rhosddu United had a bright start, Owen Tareborelli and Jamies Hughes(2) led them to a 3-2 victory over Park Youth.
 
Chirk Youth hit back through Kye Roberts and Ben Edwards as Penycae went nap to win 5-2.
 
It rained goals at Venture as they were peppered 16-0 by Cefn United.  Leading the avalanche of goals with a hat-trick apiece were Kyle Roberts and Deekon Jones.  Completing the rout were Matt Owen(2), Darren Zabo, Nathan Buffy and Ryan Jackson(2).
 
Llangollen Youth beat Garden Village 3-1 with strikes from Kevin Jones, Dominic Jay and Richard Griffiths.  Sam Parry replied for Garden Village.
 
Bobby Humphreys was in riveting form bagging four goals for Llay United as the walloped Maelor Youth 8-0.  Completing the rout were Ryan Fisher(2) and James Wright.
                
Turning to Section Two there were goals galore. Brickfield opened their account with a first class 6-3 victory over Bala. Making up their haul was Ryan Thomas and Jake McDermott with two goals apiece, Ashley Salisbury and Matt Smith.
 
Borras Park Albion were held to a 3-3 draw by Marchwiel United. Corey Smart, Dale Edwards and an og gave Borras hope but the visitors Marchwiel will be a force to be reckoned with this term and the impressive Jordon Cartwright hit back with a brace of goals and Ben Duffy ensured a point went the visitors way.
 
Marford and Gresford Albion hit Brymbo Lodge for six, literally. Richard Jones notched a hat-trick Mark Lewis, Tom Hughes and Youssef Nennaoui completed their ‘six-pack’.
 
Ruthin Town start the campaign as favourites though best emphasised with their 5-1 win over Coedpoeth. Making up their nap hand were Iolo Hughes(2), Llyr Roberts, Danny Lloyd and Kristian Pierce.
 
Corwen Youth slumped 3-0 to Rhos Aelwyd who will be there or thereabouts come next May.  There were no surprises on the scoresheet with Iolo Francis, Taylor Jasper and Rob Salathiel picking up were they left off.
 
At Under 14 level, FC Borras wre rampant and slammed Marford and Gresford 11-0. Robert Hoosan, Efan Morgan and Nick Schleising all weighed in with a hat-trick apiece with new boy Ryan Davies and sub James O’Brien competing the romp.  Captain Liam Humphreys bossed the central midfield and with Hooson they controlled the game. 
 
Miles Muphy notched both of the Marchweil goals as they won 2-0 at Bala.
 
Brymbo Lodge walloped Penycae Youth 7-1. On target were Ben Jones, Vaughan Williams(2), Andy Layne, Gavin Roberts and James Rogers.
 
Due to ground problems at Garden Village at the moment where all of the pitches are temporary out of action for the time being,  swapped their clash with Ruthin Town but it will be a trip they will quickly want to forget at Ruthin who won with time to spare with strikes from Rob Cryne who completed a treble, Lewis Isaac(2) and Joe Culshaw.
                
In Section Two, Coedpoeth had the best result of the day as they savaged Rhosddu 9-2. Dan Bennion notched four of those goals, Rhys Hughes weighed in with his customary treble with Joe Roberts and Nathan Roberts cementing the win.  Tom Ford and Matt Wright replied for the visitors. 
 
Maelor Youth flopped 5-0 at home to a rampant Borras Park Albion On his debut Mike Peters scored the opening goal of the season for Borras. This was followed up by a two goal salvo from Tom Meyers and a single strike from Sean Price. New addition Matty Hobbs kept a clean sheet in goal.
 
Queens Park shared six goals and the points with Park Youth who cancelled goals from Zac Bailey, Rhys Foulkes and Ryan Forward out by Jake Hopley and Matt Manual(2).
 
Broncoed Tigers were left waiting for a Brickfield side that failed to show.
 
Llangollen sent Llay United  crashing 5-1, Ryan Anderson, James Claybrook(2), Sam Evams and Kris Jones made up their nap hand with Dylan Jones replying.
 
There is just the one section at Under 15 level this time and signalling their intentions were Borras Park who snatched a 4-1 verdict at Rhos Aelwyd who managed to take the lead through Michael Rowlands. Both teams struggled to come to terms with the conditions, bright sunshine and a wind blowing from goalmouth to goalmouth. On the half hour mark Nathan Williams, on his Borras debut levelled matters Daniel Jones(2) and Liam Williams went on to seal the victory.
 
Park Youth triumphed 4-2 over Bala with goals from Luke Roberts(2), Dion Williams and Aled Evans.
 
Rhosddu United were on target through Ryan Littlefoot and Dean Matthews as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Coedpoeth United who replied Dan Povah and the impressive Luke Parry.
 
Garden Village swapped their clash to Chirk Youth and they still managed to have the upper-hand and win through 6-3.  Gareth Rogers was the jewel in their crown weighing in with a four goal salvo with Lou Roberts and Luke Bednarek and completing their spree with Jamie Clarke(2) and Josh Roberts.
 
There was excitement galore as Llay United went down 3-2 at home to Rhostyllen after letting slip a two goal lead carved out by Alex Howarth and Aled Hume.  Adrian Natri led the revival squaring the match and then Keiran Antloos bagged the winner,
 
Marford and Gresford Albion went down 5-3 on home soil against a classy Marchwiel United who went nap through two goal salvo’s from Jordon Davies and Phil Tinsley and Kristian Dickenson polished Albion off.  Reducing the arrears though were Lee Parry and Grant Huhes(2) on his debut.
                
In the Under 16 League in Section One, Borras Park Albion ran amok to demolish Plas Madoc 17-0.  Ben Hind was the days top gun claiming a six goal return. Chris Buxton with a hat-trick and Kelly Edwards, Neal Pearce and Paul Williams all finished with a two goal contribution.
 
Acrefair proved too strong for Park Youth, Nicky Bride, Gareth Williams, Adam Lovett, Danny Davies and Steve Armstrong enabled them to cruise to a 5-1 success.
 
Queens Park shared the honours in a 2-2 draw with Marford and Gresford Albion,  Nathan Buckley notched both of the hosts goals with Owen Williams and Harry Jones netting for Albion.
 
Turning to Section Two, Llay United were on target trough Jamie Heath who converted a hat-trick and Dan Evison as they went down by the odd goal on nine at Bala.
                
Luke Lloyd got both of the Brickfield goals as they were overpowered by Maelor Youth 8-2. Back to his best following an injury which kept him on the sidelines for 18 months was Matt Quick and he bagged the first two of the Maelor goals. Tudor Owen, Will Evans, Sam Woolham and Sam Huxley(2) completed the romp.
 
Brymbo were defeated 5-2 by Johnstown Youth who went nap through a Jamie Rogers treble and single strikes from Jack Jarvis and Jordon Smith. Chad Jarvis fired the Brymbo reply.
