WREXHAM AND DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE

With just two games gone in the Under 12 League Section One, four sides share the lead, Marchwiel United were highest achievers and they recorded a 7-1 romp at Penycae with their marksmen being Sam Plunkett(2), Jack Jones, Keiran Jones, Joe Hughes, Elliott Gerrard and man of the match Joe Williams who converted a hat-trick. Iwan Harrison replied.                        

FC Marford and Gresford chalked up their second win in seven days to defeat Maelor Youth 4-2, Kris Bailey(2), Declan Randles and Harry Jones were on target with Harry Williams and Alex Kerr replying. 

Llay United are going great guns, they hit Brymbo Lodge for six and their marksmen were Ben Robertson(2), Luke Roberts Zac Thomas and Matt Doutch(2). 

Rhosddu United defeated Coedpoeth United 5-3 and making up their nap hand were Andy Dennett, Huw Jones(2) and Sam Clapton. 

Whitegate found Garden Village too strong and they powered their way to a 6-1 victory with efforts from Brandon Barritt-Bagnall(2), Lee Livingston, Jake Robertson and Ewan Richardson, hitting back was  Ryan Reece. 

In Section Two,  Bala Town and M&G are ruling the roost, Bala were made to work hard for the points and they picked up an odd goal in seven success at Cefn United, Carl Robinson and Dan Dascalu notched two goals apiece for the winners with James Haynes(2) and Adam Davies reducing the deficit. 

Sharing pole position are Marford and Gresford Albion, goals from Chris Whittaker, Tim Byrne and a Danny Cross treble cemented their 5-0 win at Llangollen. 

Johnstown Youth got off the mark with a 3-1 win over Borras Park Rangers who hit back through Jack Roberts. 

Ruthin took an early led against Borras through Tomos Jones who replied with a thunderbolt goal from 30 yards out by Connor Arrowsmith. James Roberts doubled the Borras tally but back came Ruthin to level through Tomos Evans but Albion had last say with Arrowsmith making it 3-2 in Albions favour.

At Under 13 level in Section One, Brickfield produced a text book performance to slam Llay United 12-1.  Jordan Davies was in sensational form weighing in with a six goal salvo, Cammy Woolnugh, Jay Davies, Nathan Kearsley, Gary Ray(2) and Billy Roach made up their haul with Callum Prest getting a lone consolation goal.                         

In the top of the table clash Borras Park Rangers fought out a nail biting goal-less draw with Ruthin Town. 

Brymbo Lodge now top the table following their 7-0 triumph over Borras Park Albion. 

Maelor Youth couldn’t contain in form Chirk Youth who won with ease 10-3, on hand with the goals were Jamie Roberts with a hat-trick, Jason Phillips, James Harris(2), Harry Lewis, Kyle Lightwood and Connor Redmond.  Replying for the hosts were Rhys Williams(2) and Jason Edwards. 

Marchwiel United went down 4-1 at home to Garden Village who had Jack Peers, Sam Molyneux, Callum Dutton and an OG giving them the edge all after Nick Hughes had put United ahead.        

Turning to section two, Llangollen are top dogs and several youngsters contributed to the downfall of Rhostyllen who failed to handle such superiority and these included James Fell and Ryan Walker who converted a hat-trick apiece, skipper Will Pluves(2), Jordan Evans, Jack Jeffers, Jay Brook and Dan Edwards.  

There were goals galore in the FC Garden Village versus Rhosddu United game who just tipped the scales to win 7-5 courtesy of strikes from Adam Shone and a five goal haul from Jack Lawrenson. At the opposite end, Mark Mayers with a treble, Charlie Homer and Connor McKenna gave the Village a cause for optimism. 

Marford and Gresford Albion had a deserved 5-3 win over Johnstown and making up their nap hand were Gareth Hughes, Mark Shaw, Liam Price, Perry Shoemark and Ryan Foulkes. 

Rhos Aelwyd were second best against Acrefair who won with ease with the help of Harry Taylor, Taylor Clayton(2), Joe Roberts, Jordan Powell(2) and Aled Bartley. 

In the Under 14 League in Section One, it is Ruthin Town and Brymbo Lodge that lead the way at the moment and Ruthin were the days highest scorer whitewashing Marchwiel Colts 18-0. Nidion Jone fired a four goal salvo, Steve Willsdon and Harri Owen got a hat-trick apiece and accounting for the rest and evenly sharing them were Ifan Hafal, Ciran Jones, Brad Hughes, Osian Davis and Dylan Rennie. 

Brymbo Lodge prospered 4-1 at Borras Park Albion and John Paul Weston-Wood fired all four goals. Aiden Wilson hit back for Borras.              

Bala thrashed Corwen Youth 6-0 and amongst their scorers were Mabon Jones, Dale Davies and Tom Forrester. 

Johnstown Youth were on fire best exampled by their 15-0 whitewash over FC Brickfield.  Grabbing the headlines with a five salute were Dean Williams and Matt Smith.  Completing the debacle were Josh Millington, Harry Jones and Matt Jones with a treble.                

In Section Two, Garden Village are out and out leaders and Tom Duckett and Luke Davis shared eight goals in the 16-0 triumph over Coedpoeth who had the games best player in Cameron Pritchard. Duckett registered eight goals and Davis a treble. Completing the goal glut were Adam Denoven, James Duckett(2) and new kid on the block George Koumas.                

Acrefair shared four goals and the points with Marchwiel United, Les Morris netted both of the hosts goals with Rob Ward bagging a brace for United. 

Aaron Dymond led the Brickfield Rangers goal rush with a treble as they beat Marford and Gresford Albion 8-1. Completing the rout were Kamil Bancer and man of the match Luke Bowen who netted two goals apiece and Ryan Hughes. 

Llangollen broke their duck grand style and they chalked up a 12-3 win over Chirk Youth, Ben Wilson scored four, Clive Thomas a treble and rounding of the romp were Jack Mayberry, Joe Morris, Dan Weir, Liam Butterton and an own goal. James Cohen(2) and Jamie Jones replied.

Owen Traynor was the lone scorer for Mold Juniors as they flopped 9-1 at home to Borras Park Rangers who looked sheer class with super sub Matt Thomas notching a hat-trick, Curtis Neary, Zac Degale, Zac Bryan, Zac Forber and Greg Moffitt adding to their tally. 

In the afternoon programme, in the Under 15 League Section One, Marford and Gresford Albion in their opening game hard to work hard for their 3-2 success over Brickfield Rangers, Richard Jones and Joe Broderick gave them a two goal cushion but things were evenly poised at the end with Richard Kelly and Jake Peckham squaring the match but deep into stoppage time, Broderick fired a late winner for the hosts. 

Rhos Aelwyd are now under new management and taking the reigns is Huw Robertson.  He couldn’t have wished for a better start as his side whitewashed Coedpoeth United 15-0.  Making a huge impression on his debut was Ryan Fisher who weighed in with a five goal salvo, Ryan Jones converted a hat-trick and accounting for the rest were Lloyd Marsden(2), Taylor Jasper, Iolo Francis, Josh Griffiths and Dafydd Robertson. 

In Section Two, Mold Jets top the table after flooring Maelor 15-0. 

Rhosddu remain unbeaten and they toppled Ewloe 5-1, Adam Owen(2), Adam Hughes(2) and Tom Hallom made up the winners nap hand of goals. 

Ryan Evans managed a lone consolation goal as Corwen Youth went down 5-1 against Borras Park Albion and making up their nap hand were Taylor Rogers(2), Josh Whitehead, Jules Woolrich and Jordan Cartwright.

Park Youth were second best and punished accordingly by Chirk Youth who secured a 5-0 win away from home and their marksmen were Alex Wyles(2), Ryan Jackson(2) and Cai Roberts. 

Ruthin Town are a formidable force so it was hardly surprising that Llangollen came out second best, they beat their visitors 8-2 and on target were Iolo Hughes with a hat-trick, Josh Davies and Brandon Keating weighed in with two goals apiece and completing the spree was Dave Finnie.                        

At Under 16 League level in Section One, Brickfield Rangers produced a 3-1 victory over Marford and Gresford Albion and bagging all three of their goals was Liam Sklener, reducing the margin was Efan Morgan. 

Chirk Youth will be pleased about their 4-1 result over Ruthin Town, on target were Nathan Cooke, Kris Jones and Ryan Lightwood(2) with Tom Allen replying. 

Danny Bennion, Rhys Hughes, man of the match Nathan Jones, Geraint Griffiths and Tom Redmond made up Coedpoeths nap hand as they defeated         Llay United 5-2, Luke Cahill and Joe Roberts hit back. 

Garden Village just shaded their clash with Maelor Youth 4-3 with the help of goals from Matt Wright, Josh Evans, Mal Enbiki and Callum White. 

Turning to Section Two, Liam Anderson scored six goals as Bala trounced Marchwiel United 6-0. Meirion Ap Rhodri(2), Scott Evans and Alan Parry. 

Borras Park Albion netted sixteen times as they beat Park Youth 16-3. On target were Steven Jones with four goals, Jack Chaloner and Niall Challoner netted a hat-trick apiece and making up the rest were Tom Wells(2), George Cowell, Ryan Jones, Rob Hoosan and 
Luke Hughes.  

Llangollen pulled off an 8-3 triumph over Rhosddu United and they had a hat-trick hero in Sam Evans. Making up the goal glut were James Claybrook(2), Sam Williams(2) and Tim Pluves with plucky Rhosddu hitting back through Jake Hannaby, Steve Elliott and new signing Ryan Jones who struck twice.

Johnstown failed to match Venture who opened their account with a 3-0 victory and the goals coming from Zac Bailey, Ryan Forward and Nathan Smith.
