WREXHAM AND DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE

Chirk Youth are setting a blistering start in the Under 12 league section one and they slammed Cefn United 13-1.   Weighing in with a hat-trick apiece were Jack Wear, Harry Mooney and Jahmal Bashir, Connor Redmond struck twice with Sam Nash, Kyle Lightwood and James Harris accounting for the rest.
 
I am sure Ruthin Town will be there at the death also and they cruised to an 8-2 victory at Coedpoeth. Top gun was Rob Dodd with five goals with Crnyw Evans, Guto Jones and Josh Carnie completing the debacle.  Keiran Taylor and Nick Harris hit back.
            
At Clappers Lane, Brickfield Rangers defeated Marford and Gresford Albion 5-1.  Making up their nap hand were Jack Rolt, Jack Hayes, James Roberts, Jordon Williams and Gary Ray.
 
Llangollen Youth looked impressive as they picked up maximum points against FC Garden Village.  Will Plooves and James Fell netted a goal apiece in each half as they defeated FC Garden Village who replied through Perry Shoemark.
 
Marchwiel United fell to a 7-3 reversal against Acrefair Youth but keeping them in the game for long spells was Nicky Hughes who converted a hat-trick for the hosts.
 
At Section Two level, Borras Park Rangers looked sheer class as they crushed Rhosddu 13-0 but to their credit Rhosddu refused to surrender and never for one moment stopped trying.  Jack Davis and Declan Weeks bagged eight goals between them with Lewis Edwards(2), Sam Jarrett(2) and Lloyd Copeland completing the spree.
 
Marchwiel United went down 7-3 in their own back yard against rampant Acrefair Youth whose marksmen were Connor Rogers, Harry Duke, Aled Bartley, Adam Hughes and Jordon Powell who converted a hat-trick.
 
Whitegate Wanderers went down 8-2 at home to Brymbo Lodge whose marksmen were Matt Jones with a five goal salvo Rhys Jones, Levi Clemence and an own goal.
 
FC Garden Village chalked up a 10-0 success against Johnstown  and leading their goal binge with three goals was Sam Molyneux, Zac Price and Macauley Hart grabbed two goals apiece with Jared Taylor and an OG and Rossi White completing the ‘skinning.
 
Will McKnight grabbed four goals for Rhos Aelwyd as they defeated Borras Park Albion 5-1. Completing their nap hand was John Bloor.         
In the Under 13 League Section One, Zac Butler and Jake Williams led Rhosddu to a 2-1 win at Brickfield Rangers who responded through Kamil Bancer.
 
Four goals for Ian Hughes and a brilliant finish from Morgan Williams enabled Rhos Aelwyd to topple Brymbo Lodge 5-2.
 
Mold Juniors proved too hot for Chirk Youth to handle and leading their charge was Lee Jones with a four goal salvo, Adam Offless, Adam Roberts(2) and Callum Howarth and they won this one 8-1.  Ben Wilson grabbed a lone reply.
 
FC Borras Park Rangers maintained their unbeaten start with a 4-0 win against Coedpoeth United, Jamie Pritchard and Keegan Jakovlevs notched two goals apiece in that match.
 
Despite Joe Morris and Ryan Murphy being on target for Llangollen Youth FC they slipped up and were well beaten 8-2 by Marchwiel Colts who tasted victory for the first ever time and how sweet it was too.  Eddie Robinson netted a treble, Chris Potts, Josh Fellgroom, Jake Pollard and Liam France completed the rout.
                
Turning to Section Two, Ruthin Town were on the rampage and they demolished Park Youth 5-0, making up the whitewash were Kiron Jones(2), Ifan Hafal(2) and Tirion Roberts.
 
Acrefair suffered an 8-0 drubbing on homesoil against Garden Village who were worthy winners and had Harri Gould(2), Tom Duckett, Theo Pumford, Ethan Turton and Jordon Williams with a treble leading their charge.
 
In the match of the day, Borras Park Rangers defeated neighbours and arch rival Borras Park Albion 2-0 thanks to efforts from Zac Degale and Zac Forber.
 
Marchwiel United chalked up a 6-1 success against FC Brickfield, Eddie Evans on his debut, Rob Ward and Ryan Clutton all secured two goals apiece.
 
Marford and Gresford Albion crumbled to a 6-0 defeat at Bala Town.
 
There was an additional game on the card at Under 14 level and Rhosddu picked up maximum points to defeat Garden Village 3-2. Ben Allen, Anthony Hope and Adam Owen plotted the victory with Village replying through Jake McDermott and Callum Jones. 
 
In the afternoon programme, we have new leaders of Section One and they are Coedpoeth United who had a resounding 5-2 victory over Marford and Gresford Albion. On the score sheet were Rhys Hughes, Ben Jones, James Rogers and man of the match Adam Skellern.  Hitting back is Ben Rogers and Oliver Post, making an impact for Marford was Jack Cunnah.
 
Venture beat Brickfield Rangers 5-3 Marchwiel United 5-3 and on the score sheet with two goals apiece were Ryan Forward and Ryan Jones with Josh Roberts getting the best goal of the day with a stunning drive. Lewis Jones, Mike Butterfield and Mike Daniels.
 
Marchwiel United were really upstaged by Llangollen who won this encounter 10-0.
 
Maelor shared six goals and the points in an evenly fought encounter at Bala, their marksmen were Tom Cusworth(2) and Nick Edwards.
        
In Section Two, sub Brian Youd got the games only goal as Broncoed Tigers defeated Rhosddu United 1-0.
 
Jack Chaloner bagged four goals for Borras Park Albion as they crushed Park Youth 9-1.  Mal Mbaku, Tom Wells, Dominic Williams and Ryan Jones(2) completed the debacle with Andy Lane hitting back.
 
Garden Village will be pleased with their 5-3 success over Chirk Youth, their all round fine performance was rewarded with goals from Mason Matthews(2), Callum White(2) and Sean Price.  Reducing the arrears were Nathan Cooke, Tom Jones and Billy Nash.
 
Man of the match Joe Roberts bagged all four goals as Llay United defeated ten man Johnstown Youth who replied through Jack Griffiths and Dan Richards on his debut.
                
Turning to the Under 16 League, we have three sides with a 100% record with 2 games played and one of these sides Ruthin Town had a terrific 6-0 romp against Borras Park Albion. Ian Williams and Adam Eden notched two goals apiece with Dion Jones and Ben Taylor completing the whitewash.
 
Sharing top spot are Marford and Gresford who powered their way past Llay United 5-1.  Making up their nap hand were Lee Parry and Grant Hughes with two goals apiece and Rob Morris.
 
Also on maximum points are Park Youth who skinned Garden Village 6-3. Making up their six goal return were Tom Goburn and Luke Roberts with two goals apiece, Aaron Davies and Deiniol Williams. James Jones and Lewis Roberts were able to reduce the arrears.
 
Chirk Youth are up and running they hit Coedpoeth United for six, on target were Lewis Penrhos(2), Andy Morris, Josh Roberts, Danny Jones and Simon Williams.
 
Rhos Aelwyd shared four goals and the points with Rhostyllen Youth. Glyn Jones got both of the hosts goals with Mark Burrows also weighing in with a brace of goals to level the match.
 
Sunday saw the launch of girls football and Mold Juniors cruised to a 5-1 success at Llay. Sinead Crawford notched a treble with Naomi Kensall completing the spree.  Hitting back for Llay was Lucy Brunskill.
 
Buckley Diamonds scalped Chirk 7-0 but the days highest scorers were Penycae who whitewashed Brickfield 13-0.
 
At Under 11 level though, Brickfield avenged that defeat with a 2-0 success. On target were Rachael Davies and Kylie Prandle.
