WREXHAM AND DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE

There were goals galore in the opening day of the RAM LEISURE Wrexham Youth League. Perry Shoemark proved a difficult young man to handle and his early brace of goals proved an ideal platform for his side Garden Village to deliver a 6-2 success at home to Cen United who opened and closed the scoring through Levi Jackson and Michael Gurjoaic. Completing the hosts haul were Mark Lynch, Kyle Williams and James Rosser(2).
 
Acrefair just shaded things in a an exciting 4-3 victory over Llangollen Youth, Joe Francis, Connor Rogers, Joe Roberts and Danny Roberts were their marksmen with James Fell(2) and Ryan Walker replying.
 
Brickfield Rangers shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Marchwiel United. Billy Roach had the Rangers goal cancelled out by Richard Bevis who levelled with a fine looping shot.
 
Brymbo Lodge sent Marford and Gresford Albion crashing 6-3 but hitting back for Albion were Ryan Foulkes, Gareth Jones and Liam Price.
 
Chirk Youth hit new boys Whitegate Wanderers for six. Quite literally in fact Jay Dean, Connor Redman, Jahaml Bahsr, James Harris amongst the Chirk scorers in a 6-3 success.
 
Turning to Section 2, Garden Village were in brilliant form, they slammed Borras Park Albion away from home 11-0.  Leading their charge were 2 young men we will hear a lot about this term and they are Zac Price who weighed in with a four goal salvo and Jared Taylor who struck twice. Sam Molyneux and McCauley Hart also notched two goal apiece with Callum Dutton completing the goal binge.
 
Borras Park Rangers whitewashed Rhos Aelwyd 8-0.  Man of the match Lewis Edwards converted a hat-trick with Decaln Weeks, Scott Jones, an OG and Lloyd Copeland completing the spree.
 
Coedpoeth United are up and running, they defeated Rhosddu United 4-2, on target were Nick Harris, Jo Williams, Keiran Taylor and Eluned Miller.  Reducing the deficit were Alex Jones and Tom Povey.
 
Maelor Youth were on the wrong end of a 13-1 drubbing at home to Ruthin Town who were the days top marksmen at this level. Llyr Morris(4), Rob Dodd(3), Meredith Jones and Josh Carey with four goals completed the debacle. Maelor refused to surrender and grabbed a deserved consolation goal through Rhys Williams.
 
Macauley Tudor, Ryan Hanmer, Taylor Clayton, Jason Jones and Jamie Davies made up the Johnstown nap hand as they defeated Llay United 5-2.
 
In the UNDER 13  DIVISION in SECTION  1, Brymbo Lodge failed to contain an in form Brickfield Rangers who won this game 3-1 with strikes from Dan Sherriff(2) and Luke Bowen. Matt Turner hit back.
 
Chirk Youth went down 3-0 at home to Rhos Aelwyd who secured maximum points with the help of goals from Ian Hughes(2) and Morgan Williams.
 
Coedpoeth United were floored 6-2 by Mold Juniors but replying were Tom Roberts and Rhys Edwards with a fine header.  On target for the winners were Adam Offress with a four goal salvo, Jack Parry and Tom Gillett.
 
Marchwiel Colts flopped 6-0 at home to FC Borras Park Rangers who got off the mark with goals from Jamie Pritchard(2), Jack Griffiths(2), Kane Thomas and Keegan Jakovlevs.
 
Johnstown Youth ‘steam rollered’ their way past Llangollen Town. Leading the goal binge with seven goals was Matt Jones, Dean Williams is up and running with a five goal haul and completing the romp were Matt Smith(2), Alex Williams, Tristian Pritchard, Harry Jones, Josh Billingtion and Callum Jones(2), 
 
Turning to SECTION  2, last seasons champions Ruthin Town were worthy 5-0 winners at Marford and Gresford. Making up their nap hand were Tirion Roberts(2), Dylan Rennie, Steven Willisdon and Oliver Hughes.             
 
Park Youth defeated Marchwiel United 4-2, their marksmen were Joe Darlington, Tyrone Hopson and Cian Jones(2). Dominic White and Kyle Larkeel replied.
 
Borras Park Albion were sunk 3-0 on home soil by Acrefair who were in riveting form. Making their points safe were Tom May, Les Morris and Jared Storrie.
 
In the UNDER 14  DIVISION in SECTION  1, Ruthin Town peppered Corwen Youth 9-1. Iolo Hughes was top gun with five goals, Mike Jones(2), Dafydd Lloyd and Phil Roberts completed their rout with an own goal accounting for the Corwen response.
 
Rhosddu United were quick out of the traps to sink Brymbo Lodge 4-1 with efforts from Ryan Slawson and a Luke Griffiths treble on his debut.
 
Marchwiel United defeated Bala Juniors 8-2 and on target were Owen Mazerella with four goals, Ben Duffy with a hat-trick and Ashley Salisbury.
 
Maelor Youth failed to get to grips with Garden Village who won this duel in a canter 11-2. Lewis Davis and Jake McDermott notched four goals apiece with Rhys Hughes, Callum Jones and Ryan Edwards completing the romp.  Adam Williams managed to reduce the deficit with a brace of goals.
 
In SECTION  2, Ryan Fisher made an amazing contribution scoring five goals in the Llay United 6-1 victory over Llangollen. Liam Fisher completed the scoring with Ryan Hughes reducing the arrears.         
 
Rhos Aelwyd slammed Coedpoeth 8-1 who hit back through Kady Seabrook.  Aelwyd were quick out of their traps and Coedpoeth had no answer to strikes from debutant Lloyd Marsden who converted a hat-trick, Rob Salathiel(2), Iolo Francis and Ryan Jones.
 
Jason Murphy bagged  a brace of goals as Park Youth defeated Chirk Youth 4-3, adding to their tally were Craig Hurling, and Alex Williams. Josh Owen and Ben Edwards(2) hit back.
 
Liam Roberts had his man of the match display rewarded with a four goal salvo and Ryan Williams notched a treble as Mold Juniors beat Brickfield Rangers 7-1.  Ryan Thomas fired a consolation goal for the visitors.
 
In the afternoon programme in the UNDER 15  DIVISION SECTION  1 Marford and Gresford Albion suffered a 6-0 whitewash at home to Bala Juniors and Venture scalped Ruthin Town 4-0.
 
Brickfield Rangers went down 6-2 at home to Coedpoeth United and top gun Rhys Hughes netted four of his sides goals. Darren Bennion and Ben Jones completed the spree with Lewis Jones and Rhys Williams responding.
 
Lewis Williams has quickly picked up where he left off for Maelor Youth and that is amongst the goals and he notched a five goal return.  Also on the score sheet were Tom Cusworth(2), Alex Paynter, Mark Mottershead(2) and George Griffiths as their side whitewashed Marchwiel United.
 
Turning to SECTION  2, Rhosddu United were turned over 11-0 by Borras Park Albion and there was a familiar ring about their scorers who were Malcolm Mbako who bagged four goals, Josh Phillips(2), Jack Challinor, Adam Colley, Ryan Jones, Liam Pearce, Luke Taylor and Tom Wells.
 
Ryan Brimfield scored a hat-trick for Park Youth as they beat Broncoed Tigers 5-0. Making up their nap hand were Jake Hopley and Josh Davies
 
Chirk Youth opened their account with a convincing 6-2 victory over Llay United. On target were Billy Nash(2), Nathan Cooke(2), Justin Webb and Chris Ridmore. Dylan Jones and Joel Roberts hit back.
 
Jack Griffiths shone for Johnstown and his excellent contribution was rewarded with a treble as his side beat Garden Village 5-2. Billy Swarbrick and Sam Roberts with a volley completed their total with Mason Mathias(2) replying.
 
At UNDER 16  level there was a four game programme and bestresult of the day was Ruthin Town’s 4-1 success at Coedpoeth United. Jack Higgins(2), Jac Williams and Ian Williams were their marksmen with Owen Taylor hitting back.
 
Garden Village had a poor start and slumped to a 4-1 defeat at home to Rhos Aelwyd who secured their success with efforts from Nathan Evans, Duane Jones, Mike Rowlands and Rhys Roberts with Sam Taylor firing a lone consolation goal.
 
Llay United failed to contain an inform Park Youth who had Tom Gobern and Luke Roberts with a treble earning them a 4-0 triumph.
 
Marchwiel United had no answer to rampant Marford and Gresford Albion who deserved their 3-0 victory carved out by Rob Morris with a fine goal from distance, a stunning strike from Matt Shields and a late effort from Lee Parry.
