WREXHAM AND DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE

The four games in the Under 12 League Cup were all won with ease, there were goals galore at Acrefair who defeated Llangollen 11-4. Aled Bartley crowned a fine mornings play weighing in with a five goal salvo. Jordan Powell(2), Danny Roberts, Joe Francis and Conor Rogers(2) made up the haul with Rob Davies and James Fell hitting back with Fell netting a treble despite finishing on the losing side.
 
Cefn United took an early exit going down 5-1 against Marchwiel United who went nap through Alistair Belk, Dave Roberts and Nick Hughes who notched a hat-trick.  Levi Jackson fired a lone consolation goal.
 
Out go plucky Rhosddu United, they were floored 7-1 by Chirk Youth whose marksmen were Jack Weir(2), Conor Redmond(2), Daniel Prescott, Brad Sanger and Kyle Lightwood.  Hitting back for the hosts was Tom Povey.
 
Ruthin Town flattened FC Garden Village 17-1. Tom Dyer was the days highest scorer, he netted seven goals as Ruthin went goal crazy. Josh Carney, Jacob Williams and Rob Dodd all struck twice with Llyr Morris, Jamie Jones and Guton Jones completing the rout.
 
In a rearranged league game, Rhos Aelwyd scalped Maelor 13-1, amongst the goals with a treble was Carwyn Davies, Josh Mathews(2), Gareth Jones, Jake Allen, Dafydd Williams, Will McKnight, Dewi Griffiths, Geraint Andrews and John Blower.  Dave Hampson replied.
 
In the Under 13 League in Section One, league leaders Mold Juniors were held to 2-2 draw by Johnstown Youth who had the man of the match in keeper Jamie Bartlett who had an outstanding game. Adam Roberts and Adam Offless netted for Mold with Matt Smith and Matt Jones responding.
 
Coedpoeth United were overpowered 10-1 by a rampant Brickfield Rangers who were on target through the games best player Dan Sherriff and Kamil Bancer who converted a hat-trick apiece, Ryan Hughes(2), Jordan Jenkins and Dean Dodd. Matt Rushforth netted the hosts solitary reply.
 
Ed Robinson and Mike Roberts had Marchwiel Colts in with a good shout at one stage so the 7-2 score-line then flattered visiting  Rhos Aelwyd who were on target through a nap hand of goals from Ian Hughes and late strikes from Danny Harrison(pen) and Connor Jones.
 
Rhosddu United responded through Callum Perry and Zac Butler but found FC Borras Park Rangers just that bit too strong in the end. Steve Thomas(2), Danny Jones, Jamie Pritchard and Keegan Jakolevs made the points safe for the Rangers.
 
In Section Two, Garden Village maintained their unbeaten start, they defeated FC Brickfield 6-1. The architect behind the win were Sam Felgate and Luke Jones who notched two goals apiece, Tom Duckett and Adam Denoven who was the architect behind the win scoring and setting up three.  The visitors replied through Aaron Dymond.
 
Marford and Gresford Albion were second best to Acrefair Youth who won this encounter 3-1 with strikes from Owen Roberts, Josh Evans and the impish Tom May and reducing the deficit was James Griffiths.
 
Ruthin Town just about managed to shade their match of the day clash with Marchwiel United 3-2 with goals from Tirion Roberts(2) and Osian Davies.
 
Turning to the Under 14 League, Section One leaders Ruthin Town had a stunning 5-0 success against Bala Juniors. Making up their nap hand were Kristian Pierce(2), Michael Jones(2) and Les Brophy.
                        
Borras Park Albion were all square at the break against Garden Village with defences on top and then the floodgates opened. Dale Edwards and Taylor Rogers both struck twice with Todd Dobie, Josh Underwood and Josh Whitehead completing their romp.
 
Brymbo Lodge were whitewashed 4-0 by Marchwiel United whose marksmen were Jordon Catrwright, an OG, Shane Griffiths and James Davies.
 
Corwen Youth defeated Rhosddu United by the narrowest of margins with Tom Williams netting the games only goal.
 
Maelor Youth who have been a real credit to the league overt the years came of age to clinch a long over-due success at Penycae Youth.  Getting their all important goals were Adam Williams, Gaz Evans and Jack Manning.
 
In Section Two, Llay United now share top spot with Rhos Aelwyd after ‘skinning’ Coedpoeth United 7-0.  Ryan Fisher converted  ahat-trick with Liam Fisher bagging a brace of goals and Adam Williams and Luke Bagnall completing the rout.
 
Joining the leaders are Marford and Gresford Albion who looked sheer class as they demolished Llangollen Youth 10-0.  Leading scorer Joe Broderick added another four goals to his personal tally with Mark Lewis, Callum Parry, Tom Hughes and two own goals accounting for the spree.
 
Also sharing the leadership are Park Youth who had a narrow 2-1 win over Brickfield Rangers. Jason Murphy netted both goals with Matt Smith hitting back.
 
In the afternoon programme in the Under 15 League in Section One, Venture maintained their unbeaten start with a riveting 6-1 romp at Coedpoeth United who took an early lead through Danny Bennion.
 
Marchwiel United were floored 5-0 by Bala Juniors and Marford and Gresford Albion were second best against Brickfield Rangers who won this encounter at the Gravel Pit 8-4.   Rangers had a hat-trick hero in Liam Sklenar and making up the total were Lewis Jones(2), Ryan Hughes, Ryan Powell and Jay Williams.  Albions response came from Ben Rogers, Joe Crawford, Oliver Post and Adam Nolan and in James Cunnah they had the games best player.
 
Ruthin Town failed to cope with in form Llangollen Youth who won this encounter 7-1 to keep in tact their 100% winning start. Replying for the hosts was Will Mitchelmore.
 
Section Two leaders Borras Park Albion made it five straight wins on the bounce to floor Broncoed Tigers 6-1. Mike Hencher was the jewel in the Albion crown notching a hat-trick. Mal Mbako(2) and George Cowell on his debut completed their tally with Matty Collins reducing the deficit.
 
Park Youth stay second after picking up a convincing 6-3 victory at Rhosddu.  Ryan Brimfield converted a hat-trick with Danny Jones, Jake Hopley and an OG making up their ‘six-pack’.  Ryan Jones, Steven Elliott and ‘OJ’ Knight-Smith replied.
Chirk Youth defeated Johnstown Youth 5-1 and making up their nap hand were Justin Webb with a brace of goals, Tom Jones, Nathan Williams and Dave Shepherd.
 
Nathan Mathews converted a hat-trick for Garden Village as they defeated Llay United 6-1, completing their spree were Sean Price(2) and Callum White.
                        
Under 16 League leaders Ruthin Town walloped Coedpoeth 7-0 to maintain a one point lead.  Ian Williams led the romp with a four goal haul.  Ben Jones, Adam Eden and Gwydion Ifan completed the spree.
 
Borras Park Albion were given a stern test by Marford and Gresford Albion but it all came good in the end when Danny Jones and Dean Matthews steered them to a 2-0 victory.
 
Garden Village were second best at Chirk Youth who won this encounter 4-1 with strikes from Simon Williams(2), Danny Jones and Josh Roberts with Jim Jones responding for Garden Village.
 
Park Youth were the days undisputed ‘come-back’ kings and they trailed 3-0 at home to Marchwiel United who looked in total control after Ryan Williams, an OG and Kristian Dickenson had them in charge but they then collapsed like a pack of cards. Park got on level terms through Deiniol Williams, Aled Evans and Luke Roberts and Liam Nicholson snatched a last gasp winner. 
 
The afternoons top scorers were Rhos Aelwyd who powered on the gas to demolish Llay United 13-0.  Nathan Evans and Craig Spencer converted a hat-trick apiece, Adam Reid, Ieuan Gough, Rhys Roberts, Max Williams, Mike Rowlands(2) and Gareth Jones completed the debacle.
 
In the girls football, Lucy Brunskill bagged all three goals for Llay Under 11 as they sank Marford and Gresford Albion.
 
Brickefield failed to contain in form Marford and Gresford Albion who won this clash 3-1 with goals from Helena Griffiths(2) and Katie Sharp and replying was was Louise Jones.   
 
Park defeated Penycae 4-1 , courtesy of a Katy Long treble and a Natasha Parry strike and it was an all round team performance. Replying for Penycae was Jodie Richards.
 
Mold Juniors were held to a goal-less draw at Buckley Town.
