Summary by Phil Jones

Acrefair Youth and Marchwiel United are the dominant force in the Under 12 League Section One. United slammed Chirk Youth 7-1 and leading the romp with a five goal haul was Nick Hughes with Richard Bevis(2) adding to their tally. Chirk’s consolation was a Dylan Williams own goal.

Acrefair share pole position after flooring Whitegate Wanderers 11-3. Connor Rogers was in exceptional form and weighed in with a six goal salvo. Making up the rout were Danny Roberts, an OG, Deiniol Parfitt and Joe Francis. Replying for the hosts were Jordan Davies(2) and Jay Davies.

Marford and Gresford Albion are off the mark, they defeated FC Garden Village 4-2 and their performance oozed class. Owain Norris was outstanding but the goals flowed from Gareth Hughes, Connor Scott, Liam Price and Jamie Lloyd.

Cefn United failed to contain a rampant Brickfield Rangers who managed to reach double figures to win this game quite convincingly 10-2. Ruthin Town whacked Borras Park Albion and writing their headlines was Josh Carney with a four goal haul. Rob Dodd bagged a treble with Llyr Morris(2), Guto Jones, Jacob Williams and Andy Lewis completing their 12-0 debacle.

At Under 13 League level in Section One, FC Borras Park Rangers came down to earth with a bump as they lost their 10% winning record at Rhos Aelwyd who won this epic 5-3. Making up the Aelwyd nap hand were Ian Hughes(2), Connor Jones and a late brace from Dan Harrison which included a penalty conversion.

In Section Two, match of the day was at Borras Park Rangers, they shared the overnight lead with opponents Acrefair who they sent crashing 5-0. Making up the Rangers nap hand of goals were Zac Degale and Zac Forber with two goals apiece plus George Ford.

Joining Rangers at the top though are Marchweil United who defeated Bala Juniors 3-0 to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign. Getting their goals were Jack Edwards, Ryan Reid and Rob Ward but catching the eye was Connor Jones who shone in defence.

Park Youth were beaten in their own back yard 2-0 by Garden Village whose marksmen were Adam Denoven who scored with a well struck free-kick and he then set up Ethan Turton to cement the win.

A late effort from Layton Evans which was a looping shot over the keeper enable Borras Park Albion to just shade things 2-1 over plucky Marford and Gresford Albion. Sean Carter had netted an earlier goal for the hosts with Matt McCarthy giving Albion caise for optimism.
