The days top action was in the Under 14 NEWFA Challenge Cup and competition favourites Buckley were given a slight scare by Marford and Gresford who took an early lead when Callum Parry scored with a header from a corner. Joe Broderick had added a second but Buckley ran out comfortable winners in the end with strikes from Nick Jones(2), Sam Roberts, Sean Tinsley and Aled Reece.
