The days top scorer and he made his job look really easy was Dominic White and he helped himself to a five goal contribution as Marchwiel United beat hosts FC Brickfield 9-0. Completing their goal glut were Dylan Gillanders, Kyle Ellrick, Ryan Reid and Dave Jameson.

Adam Denoven(2) and Tom Duckett combined for Garden Village to pick up an excellent 3-0 win over second placed Acrefair Youth.

Park Youth were responsible for sending Borras Park Rangers crashing for the first time this season. Tyrone Hopson and Kian Jones secured their narrow 2-1 win with Ayden Wilson replying.

Marford and Gresford Albion found Bala Juniors a tad too strong but Nick Koumas did manage a consolation goal in their 4-1 home defeat.

Turning to the Under 14 League, we have new leaders in Section One following Ruthin Town’s 5-1 success against overnight leaders Borras Park Albion who hit back through Todd Dobie.

Marchwiel United shaded their clash with Garden Village by the odd goal in seven. The winners goals came from Mark Matthews(2), Ben Duffy and James Roberts with Owen McGrath, Ryan Edwards and Joe Harper responding.

Penycae Youth beat Brymbo Lodge 2-1 with strikes from Wyn Jones and Ryan Jones.

Rhosddu United never looked under any threat as they chalked up a 6-1 triumph over Bala Juniors. Jamie Harris notched twice, Ben Allen converted a penalty, Shane Goode, Anthony Hope and Adam Owen sealed the points.

In Section Two, Rhos Aelwyd and Mold Juniors have moved to take a share of the leadership with Brickfield who did not play.

Mold Juniors savaged Park Youth 9-1, netting two goals apiece were Liam Roberts, John Reid, Ryan Williams and Ollie Marshall with Connor Leckensi completing the rout.

Lloyd Marsden converted a treble as Rhos Aelwyd slammed Llangollen Youth 7-0. Making quite an impression with a hat-trick were also Josh Griffiths(2), Dafydd Robertson and Adam Peters.

Llay United were second best on the day against Marford and Gresford Albion who set the cruise control to triumph 9-2. Joe Broderick has proved to be an excellent signing for boss Andy Roberts and he notched yet another hat-trick as did the impressive Callum Parry. Adding to their tally were Ben Price, Richard Jones and Tom Hughes.

In the afternoon programme, in the Under 15 League in Section One in the match of the day clash, Maelor lost a golden opportunity to go top when they fell to their first defeat of the season and it was against rivals Llangollen who won this epic 4-3 with Lewis Williams and Lewis Ellrick(2) running Maelor close.

Thanks to the goal scoring prowess of Sam Thorley who notched a treble and William Hancock, Marchwiel United defeated Marford and Gresford Albion 4-3.

Ruthin Town beat Brickfield Rangers 3-1 with efforts from Joe Parry, Jordon Allbury and Jordon Reid.

Just two games survived in the Under 16 League, Marchwiel United can feel rightfully proud for slaying Marford and Gresford Albion 3-2. United marksmen were Kristian Dickenson, Ben Thomas and Michael Murphy who secured an injury time winner.

Many might argue that the best result of the day belonged to Garden Village who ambushed home side Rhos Aelwyd and they won this encounter 2-1 with strikes from Joseph Jarvis and Connor Speed and replying for Rhos was Mike Rowlands.
