WREXHAM AND DISTRICT YOUTH LEAGUE
Summary by Phil Jones

Saturday 16th February 2008
There was plenty of cup football on offer and centre stage we had the NEWFA Under 12 Cup which was at its Round 3 stage. Acrefair Youth were able to take their league form into the cup arena and they defeated Mynydd Isa Youth 5-2. Making up their nap hand were Joe Roberts, Connor Rogers and Jordan Powell with a hat-trick but the games best player was Acrefair’s Deiniol Parfitt,
Borras Park Rangers just shaded their tie with Ruthin Town 3-2, grabbing the winners goals were Danny Jarret, Lloyd Copeland and Jack Davies with Cerwyn Evans and James Jones hitting back.

Brymbo Lodge hit back through Danny Myers and Keiran Jones but were ousted by Mold Juniors 4-2.

There was plenty of action too in the Under 14 League Cup which was at its Round 2 stage.
